When Contacting Venues:
Create a consistent template for all your show inquiries. Your template should address the following:

• Who are you, and where are you from?

• How do you describe your sound?

• What is the purpose of your outreach?

Be sure to include a press kit or an EPK link at the end of your email, along with links to your music and any relevant videos. Following up is key—wait 3 to 7 days after your initial email before reaching out again.

When Contacting Festivals:
Do your research. Is this festival the right fit for your sound? Are there any fees associated with applying?

Always visit the festival’s website to confirm it aligns with your goals. Many festivals provide a form for musicians to fill out. If not, use the same template as for venues, ensuring you address:
